What Do I Need To Provide For My Foster Cat?
Foster Homes need to provide the basic essentials for their foster cats. The other supplies will depend on what the cat require. Foster Homes can also see what supplies The Volunteer Centre has in stock.

Carrier (Usually the cat will come to you in a carrier if being driven to you, you need one if you pick up the cat)

Litter (No clay clumping litter for kittens)

Suggested Items - These are items you would get as needed, or are nice to haves

Camera - This is a very helpful tool to monitor cats when they are in the first few days of a new foster home

Jars of baby food (chicken or turkey - for feeding finicky or ill cats and kittens)

Towels & blankets for bedding - for expectant mothers

Kitten milk replacer (KMR) - for kitten foster parents

Hot water bottle (if fostering ill or orphan kittens)

Weighing scale (to weigh larger cats)

Kitchen digital scale (Kittens only - to weigh kittens to ensure they are growing)
